I hope you are well. We wanted to update you on Nova, how he has settled in and his neutering.
He’s been absolutely adorable from the moment we left with him, purring even whilst in the carrier in the car! He’s just always so happy and affectionate. He’s also amazingly intelligent, we’ve trained him to respond to clicks and thigh slaps. He’s been the alpha here over the two girls from the moment he arrived, it took a while but now they often lay together and groom eachother though one he quite likes to have a 3am stampede with!
He loves water, lap cuddles, his paws stroked, very often he lets me carry him around the house like a baby! It is quite unusual but I think a reflection of the amount of time we give him. He is our alarm clock , 7:30 cuddles, and greets us at the door with meows and head bumps. He’s added so much to our lives.
Karli is doing really well, she’s crazy and confident and gorgeous and snuggly. Love her!
I registered her at the vets yesterday. And she seems to be getting on ok with Cici too.
Just to let you know that Misty is settling in really well. She is doing great, getting on really well with our other Bengal ( kitty).
Lumi took a few days to settle (as is normal for kittens) but is doing really well now.
She was very nervous the first night if I’m honest, spent the first 24 hours under the bed, not shaking or anything like that…if we put our hand under she would be all over us, rolling around and wanting a fuss, it’s just she seemed to want the security of a roof over her head.
The other cats don’t bother her, she’s getting used to the children and took to the harness straight away, we weren’t going to start that so soon but she seemed very keen to get outside once she discovered the windows. She went for her first brief trip outside in the back garden this afternoon on the harness and lead, and she was absolutely fine! Rolling around, playing and smelling everything, bless her.
We are very in love with her 🙂
